FAQS: What can I expect from my consultation?

Our experienced staff will get to know you.
Your surgical experience will be optimized from the start. Our administrative assistant and patient coordinator will want to know about your interests, your goals, and your schedule. Their jobs are to make it as easy and comfortable for you to learn about your options and achieve the outcome that you are looking for.
Dr. Lowenstein will discuss your goals and review your options.
Upon meeting Dr. Lowenstein, you will begin to review your breast surgery goals. Depending on the breast enhancement procedure you are looking for, Dr. Lowenstein will review the procedure options, breast implant options, and expectations associated with your breast goals. Dr. Lowenstein will show you different types of breast implants, and you will get to look and feel the differences between them. Additionally, you and Dr. Lowenstein may utilize our advanced educational software, MyTouchMD, to look at diagrams, review before and after photos, or review videos.
With the help of our nursing staff, detailed measurements will be taken.
In order to precisely plan for your operation, Dr. Lowenstein and his nurse will make some assessmentsof your breast length and width, as well as some other measurements. Utilizing these values as well as your input, Dr. Lowenstein will make some recommendations on breast implant and surgical techniques that are most appropriate for your goals.
Sizing- you will get to try on actual breast implants.
As part of the surgical planning, Dr. Lowenstein and our staff will help you try on some different sized implants and assess the breast form you are going to achieve. The important thing here is to show the doctor and staff the form that you are looking for, and photos will be taken of you in your clothes, with the breast implant sizers, that you will be able to refer to later using our MyTouchMD interface online.Dr. Lowenstein’s record of achieving just the look that you show him is outstanding… over 99% of our patients let us know that we got it just right!
You will meet again with our patient coordinator.
Following your time with Dr. Lowenstein, you will again meet with our patient coordinator to review the logistics of your plan. While you will get information about scheduling opportunities and pricing, you will never feel pressured to make a decision at our office. Should you wish to schedule surgery soon after your consultation, additional pre-operative instructions will be supplied and appropriate plans made.
